A GIPSY WINS BIG BROTHER - ITALIAN EDITION

Ferdi is the name of the last winner of Big Brother Italian edition.
He is a Gipsy,

We can said - in part- the same thing for the winner of 'The isle of the famouses', the oher reality Tv show of last summer; the Transgender, in fact, was more 'puritan' then others players, and that thing was been the 'goal' with he/she won the reality show.

ITALIAN CIVIL PROTECTION: A MODEL TO FOLLOW

While I'm writing, only 36h. after the L'Aquila's earthquake, 7,500 persons of Civil Protecion are in the places to help a population of 28,000 people without homes, that now, thanks to them can sleep in a bed and eat cooked food; a big example of organization and solidariety of my Country that make me proud as Italian.
Before the biggest shockwave of 3,30 a.m. on monday morning made the big disaster in L'Aquila, any units of Protezione Civile were in the place, alerted from the headquartiers of Civil Protection, after 2-3 months of littles and frequently 'mini earthquakes', the most part registrated only by sismic devices make fear in the population of that little area of Abruzzo, in the middle south of the Italy.
The Italian Civil Protection National service borns after the national tragedy of Friuli's earthquake on last '70's, where has been 2,500 dies.
In that evil event, thousands of volunteers from all Italian's regions: from Sicily, Calabria, Sardinia, but also from all others regions, went in Friuli to help the population. In many cases the volunteers hadn't devices for to work and they worked only with their hands, that thing is only a sample of confusion that in these cases can happen with thousand persons wants to help but there isn't an organization.
The Civil Italian Protection National Service (renewed on '92) consists of central and peripheral State administrations, Regions, Provinces, municipalities, national and territorial public agencies, and any other
public and private institution and organisation present on the national territory. The President of the Council of Ministers provides for the co-ordination of the National Service and the promotion of civil protection activities through the Civil Protection Department
the series of actions and activities put forward by a country in order to protect human lives, goods, settlements and the environment from damages or from the danger of damages deriving from natural calamities, catastrophes and other disastrous events.
Red Cross (where the biggest part are volunteers), Firemen, Italian Police, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, Italian Army, Guardia Forestale, local Polices, and many others civil (volunteers) organizations from the most big and important as the Caritas (Catholics, a religious organization), to the littles, before to do something must to attend the Civil Protecion commands.
I think the Italian Civil Protecion could becomes a model for others Countries.
When I saw the disaster of New Orleans for example, I didn't believe what I see: the helps to the population comes only a too many days after that announcing tragedy, only for a bad organization of rescues.
I think with an useful Civil Protection as we have in Italy, that tragedy, with all these dies, didn't comes.

LAST NEWS FROM L'AQUILA'S EARTHQUAKE

235 dies; 1,500 injuried; 15,000 persons without an home, but also 150 persons under the collapsed houses saved by rescue teams of Civil Protection ( police, army and volunteers); now, after 48h to the shock, datas are definitives about the L'Aquila's earthquake.
That earthquake is particular: the point of the shock is 6Km. below the ground: it means only a little piece of country damaged, but the damages are very bigs, in that little area where is the town of L'Aquila, with it 60,000 habitants and its 700 years old...
Anothere strange thing is that the earthquake starts 3 months ago to tremble every days with little shockwaves; that one permitted to Protezione Civile to be ready before the big shokwave of Monday morning at 3.30 a.m.
L'Aquila is closed.
The most part of buildings are damageds; anyone because was old and anyone because the builders made a bad work ( and now, Italian justice open a new case against those persons).
The little earthquakes still plays and is very danger to enter in the houses or to walk in the streets.
A good thing is that ALL PEOPLES that lose Their homes can to sleep in tents, to eat hot cooked and goes in one of undreds of Hotels to 100 km. from L'Aquila, the hotels in the beaches of Adriatic sea, a touristic area, of course all for free and just to their homes will be avaiables, all thanks to the Italian Civil Protecion - borns after the big earthquake in North Italy of 1978, and one of most organized for that things in all the world -.
A big problem will be the re-build, but also the reparation of Artistic Church damaged by earthquake.
Italy's looking for sponsors - Countries of Companies - for example yesterday and Italian Bank "Monti dei Paschi di Siena" founded on 1.200, will pays to rebuild an important artistic church in the center of L'Aquila.
An Italian researcher - that lives in L'Aquila - Giuliani predicted that earthquake.
The notice is thruth and would be a great discovery and to change the earthquake's science.
Mr. Giuliani uses an old experimental method that he personally customised: to observe the radon gas; a radiactive gas lives many miles underground: just to 1969 while an earthquake's running, the radon percent onair was increased: that thing started many studies, but still now that method isn't considerated accuracy, still now...
The problem, for that researcher is hasn't a degree... it means that mr. Giuliani is a 'self made researcher' never studied in an university and that thing in Italy is very important: if you saidd to discover something without to have a degree you're not serious and when mr. Giuliani had warned a major earthquake was on the way the 29 March and it isn't, his forecasts were dismissed as false alerts.
Authorities failed to heed the warnings, arguing that tremors can’t be predicted with any degree of accuracy. Those raising the alarm were even dubbed “idiots” by Italy’s head of Civil Protection and criticised for spreading panic.
In Italy, on 60 millions of habitants, 20 millions lives on the earthquakes' areas, as you can see in the map of Italy where the earthquake's areas are in red .

EARTHQUAKE IN ABRUZZI LAST NIGHT

Only six hours ago, at 03,30 a.m. hour (local hour) on L'Aquila, the town capital of Abruzzi, a region in the south-middle of Italy an earthquake 6.3 Richter scale - as You can see in the photo below; thanks to 'Osservatorio Vesuviano" ( near Vesuvio Vulcan, Naples) - for 30 seconds the ground quaked.
The epicentre, three miles (5km) below the city of L'Aquila in the Apennine Mountains and for the moment official dies are 31.
Italy, after the big earthquakes at last of '70's in Trentino and in '80's in Campania and Irpinia, Goverment made a new method for to help peoples in case of big tragedies, that new organization called "Protezione Civile".
Protezione Civile is a sort of Civil Defense, but that organization isn't for war time, but made for to help peoples when happen earthquakes, floods and others similar disasters) and it boss, Guido Bertolaso saids: "This earthquake is the biggest problem after the year 2000 in Italy".
Abruzzo is a little region in the middle of Italy and the news saids all streets and highways that connects Italy South with Italy North closed.
They doesn't saids when the highways will be opens, but the warning is: don't start a trip today ( and tomorrow) just to the streets will be avaiables.
